Artist Statement

I create work out of the images of my recent visits, during which I have had a moment of reflection on life. I add metaphorical objects to some of these poetic landscape paintings to express various human emotions. I include everyday items such as a balloon or a chair for some paintings or an abstract item for others, and I invite the viewer to an imaginative, parallel world.
